To summarize, I started my professional career as a clinical nutritionist in 1992 and ran a very successful practice for 15 years in the very competitive Fairfield County, CT, less than an hour outside of New York City.
I quickly learned how to market myself in very simple yet effective ways. I knew what I could provide those in need and I knew exactly what their needs were. However, I realized after some initial struggles, if you wish to be successful in any area of life the easiest way to achieve your goals is to follow what other successful people have done and then put in the effort.
By following specific rules and insights other marketing experts shared with me, I was able to develop and then utilize marketing skills to help a start up global natural products company grow to over a million dollars in revenue in a short period of time. I owned and operated an 11,000 sq ft water front restaurant with over 3 Million dollars in annual revenue, over saw the development of two marketing results oriented software programs, authored and contributed expert interviews to popular books, magazines and newspapers and have helped countless other professionals market their businesses over the years.
The reason I have been asked to contribute to books, magazine and newspapers is because I am viewed by the media as an “expert” or “authority.” While many professionals would consider themselves an expert, very few know how to market their expertise to get more customers and more media coverage.
